Sure enough, the day after the hole was dug and the footings poured, the basement walls were poured too! Thanks to Jen for these photos. The cement at the top of the forms was hot to the touch, either the sun was hotter than I thought, or there was some sort of chemical accelerator in the mix to help the concrete set faster…
