a bit of alison and tony

Due to popular demand (hi pete!) i’m adding our color choices – i’m not sure how much they’ll mean because of the fun names they always give the colors – i’ll try to explain how i would describe them… For reference, here is a house that is the same model as ours (our garage will be on the right) which will be similar in outside color…

For the outside:
shingles: heather blend (dark brown/charcoal mix)
siding: napco wicker (kind of a warm khaki/tan earth tone)
shake: natural clay (a tad darker than the siding – i believe the same as the darker color on the house above)
shutters: burgandy red (a bad name for what i’d call it, more of a warm organic red/brown)
stone: chardonnay csv2012 (a nice complimentary mix of warm tans/reds -this just goes on the pillar base by the front door)

For the inside:
walls: bone white (a warmer rich white/tan color – will make a little contrast with the white white ceilings)
cabinets: fulton maple recessed panel toffee (a rich brownish wood color)
kitchen/1st floor bath countertops: Pionite AV991 “Gem on a Hill” (kind of a patterned olive white flake – really hard to describe)
2nd floor bath countertop: Pionite AT231 Manila Linen (an earth tone medium almost sandstone color)
flooring 1st floor: VR123 Montana Ridge (wish i had taken pictures of these to post…)
flooring 2nd floor: VR141 Kingsbridge
carpet: dune 00702 (a warm light khaki tan flecks)
knobs/hinges/fixtures: brushed nickel
doors: 6 panel colonial
