a bit of alison and tony

Yesterday I walked through the house to find that more of the drywall seams and corners had been mudded… It’s a kind of slow part of the process to watch progress since the changes aren’t as visually drastic compared to the early framing and erection… Today Alison and I went back and walked through the house again to find more sanding and mudding had been done. Then up in the master bedroom Alison was excited to notice that they had applied the texture to the ceilings. Then we realized that they had done the whole 2nd story, and the stairs, and wait, the first floor and basement stairs ceilings too! How had we missed that! I suppose it was subtle, an unexpected… Alison will update this post later with some of her favorite photos of our textured ceilings.
They had also finished siding the east wall of the house, so now just the front and part of the back remain… A little over a month remains until our estimated closing date, we are really looking forward to moving in!
